Coming Soon

I don't release a book until and unless I'm sure it's ready, but to my delight I've been able to release four books in 2011. ("Stir Until Thoroughly Confused" came out in January, A Life That Fits in June, and Live Out Loud in September. Blank Slate Kate is out now, wrapping up this year's releases.)

Since finding the book's title is often one of my last steps before releasing, these poor books are officially nameless at the moment. I switch back and forth between books to let me work on them with fresh eyes, so each book project has a codename so I can keep track of them all. Rest assured that I'm unlikely to release a book called "Flying Squirrel" or "Igloo" any time soon!

  • "Flying Squirrel" (tentative title "Find Your Happy Pace") (second draft in process, intended release May/June 2012.)
    • Thirty-year-old Megan is very helpful, to the point of complete self-sacrifice. As she learns to be a marathon runner (with the help of Andrew from my book "Planning to Live) she also learns to set her own boundaries and run her race and her life at her own happy pace.

  • "Gemstone" (tentative title "The Nice Guy Box") (second draft in process, intended release September 2012.)
    • Internet columnist Lydia has never had a real relationship. Guys are either nice or sexy, and she's not convinced one can be both. But when her sexy-guy boss assigns her a project to be good to herself for 30 days, will she discover that she's been looking at her life all wrong?

  • "Hippo" (first draft in process, intended release December 2012.)
    • Melissa boards what is to be her wedding cruise, nervous to meet her fiance's family. Nerves turn to horror when she discovers she has dated both of her brothers-in-law-to-be and still has feelings for both of them.

"Igloo" and "Jasper" are next in the queue, but at this point all I really know is their codenames. :)
